Overexposure to ultra violet rays from the scorching sun causes sunburn and tanned skin. Fair people are at greater risk than the dark ones. The skin becomes red or brown and starts peeling due to dryness. Follow these best home remedies to help you regain your glowing flamboyant skin.

For mild tanned skin rub in peeled potato skin in the affected area. You can even apply raw potato juice too for fast relief.

For severe tanning and dry skin, mix sugar, lemon juice and glycerin and scrub the affected area gently in circular motion.

Mix 1teaspoon each of potato juice and lemon juice and apply it on affected area. Leave the mixture for 15 minutes and rinse it well with cold water. Do it once a day until you get rid of it.

Scrape the skin of a cucumber and put it in a liquidizer. Add 1tablespoon of chilled milk to it and mix it well. Apply the mixture to all the affected areas. Rinse it with cold water after 15 minutes. Do it twice a day.

Mix 3 tablespoon of milk and 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder and rub it well in affected areas. Leave it to dry and rinse it off in cold water. This method also aids in removing facial hair.
